Marching Orders
18 Jesus came and told his disciples, “I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. 19 Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. 20 Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
Matthew 28:18-20
These words of Jesus should resound inside of every believer’s heart! We are told to go and make disciples. Some of us may be going to the other side of the street to talk to our neighbors. For others, it may be going to a foreign country. Still, others will have a chance to be involved in some short-term missions to expand the kingdom of God. The bottom line is, we have no wiggle room to get out of this commission. All believers are called to take the gospel with them wherever they go.
Ways To Connect With Missionaries
- Find an area of the world that you have a heart for, then search from the links below to find a missionary you could support through prayer and financial assistance.
- Consider making a donation to one of our missionary partner’s general (undesignated) missions fund. This way they use your gifts where it is needed most. You can give through Connect Virtual Church’s “Designated Missions” fund.
- Get involved with Operation Christmas Child. (one of our favorite missions)
